Danielle Cheng joined the executive team at Wirefire as Vice President of Sales and marketing in the fall of 2020.
She comes to us as an award-winning sales executive to partner with clients and ensure their technology continues to meet the demands of the business. Danielle brings her breadth of experience, having served large public institutions as well as the top 100 Companies in Western Canada. Her aim is enhance Wirefire’s triple bottom line: People, Planet & Profit.
As an advocate of women in technology related professions, Danielle serves on the board of Isaca as associate director of Sheleadstech (SLT). In her role at SLT, Danielle co-leads 16 like minded women to engage, empower and elevate young and professional women in technology.
In her spare time, you can find Danielle walking her two beloved shh tzus and husband around Vancouver or laughing over brunch with her family and friends.
Kate is Business Operations Manager at Wirefire, leading day-to-day company operations, managing HR, Finance, reporting and planning, as well as supporting the leadership in driving the business forward. In partnership with the executive team, Kate ensures Wirefire keeps its unique values and corporate culture. After joining Wirefire in 2018, Kate has quickly become an invaluable part of the team and thrives in a group setting where she can help others.
Before moving to Canada in 2017, Kate used to work in the field of investor relations. Holds an MBA from University of Windsor.
Outside of work, Kate is an outdoors enthusiast, exploring the beautiful British Columbia on foot, on a bike, kayak or snowshoes.
Hartej is a certified ITIL Expert in IT Service Management, a ServiceNow guru, and a customer & ICT support expert with 10+ years of professional experience across various industries locally and internationally. He has 8 years of successfully managing multiple Service Management projects and programs, and a leader in Service Management expertise and ServiceNow projects. He is experienced in application development and implementation, end-user training, project management and people management. On his free time, Hartej enjoys spending time with his family and snowboarding.
Jeff is VP of Sales and Marketing for Wirefire. A seasoned sales expert with 28 years’ driving transformative business value through the adoption of advanced technology in enterprise organizations. He is a key member of our leadership team with a focus on delivering revenue strategies to propel Wirefire into an elite global technology solutions firm. With his broad industry experience and deep insights, he is expanding Wirefire into new markets while developing strong partner relationships. Jeff fits the Wirefire culture with an unassuming style that creates customer confidence and builds trust with business leaders. When not helping his customers, he is engaged with his community through active volunteering, and coaching kids championship baseball and hockey teams.
As COO, Gabriela advises the leadership team on day-to-day operations and building the business. She leads finance efforts and works closely to deliver best practices in talent acquisition, business planning, and engagement management. Gabriela came to Canada from Mexico City to complete an MBA from UBC before joining Wirefire. The nine years prior to her MBA she was a manager of talent for a large multi-national engineering and construction company. Gabriela has a deep passion for creating a positive impact on people’s lives and converting talent management into a strategic advantage. She is an enthusiast of photography and languages – speaking Spanish, Portuguese, and English fluently. Gabriela enjoys volunteering for community and environmental causes and has participated in Habitat for Humanity and reforestation projects, among others.
Karsten is CEO of Wirefire ServiceNow Solutions. His technology experience is deep, rich and spans over 20 years driving strategic business transformational change with advanced technology and with ServiceNow since the early days – 2008. Karsten brings strong leadership coupled with unique business insights when implementing ServiceNow that is rarely found. He is zealous about how the ServiceNow technology and Wirefire can deliver real customer benefit. Karsten is driven to continuously advance and support the Wirefire delivery and development teams to achieve creative solutions to challenging business problems. On his free time, Karsten enjoys outdoors, especially being on the water.
David is President of Wirefire. An engineer and entrepreneur with thirty years in Information Technology, from strategy to design-build to operational excellence. David is now striving to expand Wirefire into a global brand known for creative solutions to complex problems. He co-founded Wirefire on the belief that a company should contribute to creating a better world, socially and environmentally, by empowering team members to make a difference. Balancing his passion for technology David founded a social venture in Nepal with the singular goal of “keeping girls at risk in school” – Kina.org
Craig is CEO of Wirefire Secure Network Solutions. A techie at heart Craig has over 28 years delivering truly innovative network and security solutions for multi-national companies operating from Argentina to Alaska and from Korea to Quebec. An expert and thought leader in advanced strategic planning and in designing complex industrial secure network architectures utilizing state of the art technologies. Craig ensures Wirefire brings a business perspective to all client engagements ensuring that our innovative solutions deliver long-term value. He is compassionate about helping others, volunteering in Africa and driving the Wirefire involvement in Cisco’s Connected North program for indigenous Canadian communities.
Alon is CTO of Wirefire Secure Network Solutions. A hacker at heart, he is a seasoned security veteran with over 20 years of diverse and hands-on experience deploying complex security technologies with Enterprises and Governments globally. He is a leading expert on next-generation firewall technologies, threat prevention, cybersecurity, content filtering, and hybrid cloud security. Alon has a unique perspective on connecting unrelated dots together in unique ways. A passionate, lead-by-example kinda CTO that can inspire a team to do amazing things. Outside of work, Alon is involved in mentoring aspiring young security professionals and helping grow the community, in particular with public speaking at high schools to bridge the skills gap and prepare students for careers in cybersecurity. With his free time, Alon enjoys hiking and playing guitar.
